APM National Convention: A New Chapter for Our Party and Nigeria

APM National Convention: A New Chapter for Our Party and Nigeria

I warmly congratulate the newly elected members of the National Working Committee of our great party, the Allied Peoples Movement (APM), following the successful National Convention held in Bauchi State.

I also extend my heartfelt congratulations to our National Leader, His Excellency, Senator Bala Mohammed, whose leadership and commitment continue to strengthen the party as we prepare for the important task ahead.

The successful convention represents another major milestone in the growth of APM and reinforces my conviction that our party is steadily emerging as a credible political force capable of offering Nigerians a genuine alternative.

Within a remarkably short period, APM has grown in visibility, structure and national acceptance.

I believe much of this momentum has also been strengthened by the credibility, leadership record and widespread acceptance of our Presidential Candidate, His Excellency, Engr. Seyi Makinde, FNSE.

Across the country, Nigerians are searching for leadership that understands their challenges and is prepared to provide practical solutions.

They are concerned about the economy.

They are concerned about jobs.

They are concerned about food security, healthcare, infrastructure, education and the future of their children.

This is why the journey towards 2027 cannot simply be about changing political parties. It must be about presenting Nigerians with a clear vision and a government that genuinely puts people first.

Thank You, Governor Seyi Makinde

I particularly thank His Excellency, Engr. Seyi Makinde, for his leadership and for the role he continues to play in strengthening our collective political journey.

His emergence as our Presidential Candidate has given members across the country renewed confidence and a clear sense of direction ahead of the 2027 general elections.

We are proud to stand with him.

And from Lagos to every part of Nigeria where our structures are being strengthened, we will work tirelessly to mobilise Nigerians around the vision of a better country.

Our commitment is clear: we will work to deliver impressive numbers for APM at the polls.

Appreciation to Lagos and National Delegates

I also sincerely appreciate all the leaders and delegates from Lagos State who travelled to Bauchi and participated in this historic convention.

Your commitment, discipline and dedication to the growth of our party are deeply appreciated.

I equally thank delegates, leaders and members who came from different parts of Nigeria.

The unity displayed throughout the convention reminds us that our diversity remains one of our greatest strengths when we are united by a common purpose.

The convention may have been held in Bauchi, but the message that emerged from it belongs to the entire country.

APM is organising.

APM is expanding.

And APM is preparing for 2027.

Thank You, Bauchi

To the government and good people of Bauchi State, I express my sincere gratitude for the warmth and hospitality extended to us throughout our stay.

We felt welcomed from the moment we arrived.

I was also honoured to be part of the courtesy visit to the Emir of Bauchi, who graciously received us.

I pray that Almighty God continues to grant him good health, wisdom and long life as he continues to serve his people.

The hospitality shown to us in Bauchi reflects the spirit of unity and brotherhood that Nigeria desperately needs.

The Work Begins Now

A successful convention is important, but our responsibility does not end there.

The real work begins now.

We must return to our communities.

We must strengthen our structures.

We must engage Nigerians directly.

We must listen to their concerns and present practical solutions.

And we must build a political movement capable of earning the confidence of the Nigerian people.

In Lagos, our mission remains the same.

Through our Atunto Eko — Reset Lagos Agenda, we will continue presenting a credible alternative focused on affordable housing, economic opportunity, youth empowerment, healthcare, infrastructure, accountable governance and policies that improve the everyday lives of Lagosians.

Nationally, we remain committed to the broader vision of Reset Nigeria.

I congratulate once again our National Leader, Senator Bala Mohammed, our Presidential Candidate, Engr. Seyi Makinde, the newly elected members of the National Working Committee, all delegates and the entire APM family.

The convention has ended.

The next phase has begun.

APM is growing.

APM is united.

And APM is ready for 2027.
