A New Chapter for APM: Congratulations to Our Leaders, Delegates and Presidential Candidate

A New Chapter for APM: Congratulations to Our Leaders, Delegates and Presidential Candidate

The successful conclusion of the Allied People’s Movement National Convention in Bauchi State marks an important moment in the growth and development of our great party.

I congratulate every member of the APM family who contributed to making the convention peaceful, organised and successful.

For me, the convention was more than a gathering of party members. It was a demonstration of our growing unity, our national spread and our determination to build a political platform capable of offering Nigerians a credible alternative in 2027.

My Appreciation to Governor Bala Mohammed

I particularly congratulate and appreciate our National Leader, His Excellency, Senator Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed, CON, Governor of Bauchi State, for the leadership and hospitality extended to delegates throughout the convention.

Bauchi State received members of our party from different parts of the country with warmth and generosity.

That spirit of accommodation and brotherhood is exactly what Nigeria needs at this important period in our national life.

I thank the Governor, the government and the good people of Bauchi State for making our delegates feel at home.

Congratulations to Governor Seyi Makinde

I also warmly congratulate His Excellency, Governor Seyi Makinde of Oyo State, on his emergence as the Presidential Candidate of the Allied People’s Movement.

His emergence gives our party a clear direction as we prepare for the 2027 general elections.

Governor Makinde brings experience in governance, leadership and public administration to this responsibility, and I believe the task before all of us now is to take our message directly to Nigerians.

The challenges facing our country are enormous.

Millions of Nigerians are concerned about the cost of living, unemployment, insecurity, infrastructure, healthcare, education, agriculture and the future available to our young people.

The 2027 election must therefore be more than a contest between political parties.

It must be a serious conversation about the kind of Nigeria we want to build.

Our Reset Nigeria Agenda must present practical solutions capable of improving the lives of ordinary Nigerians.

Congratulations to Our New National Executives

I also congratulate all newly elected National Executive Officers of the Allied People’s Movement.

Leadership at this stage of our party’s development comes with enormous responsibility.

Our members and supporters expect unity, discipline, fairness and a clear strategy capable of strengthening the party in every state, local government, ward and polling unit.

I look forward to working with the new national leadership as we continue building a stronger and more formidable APM.

Our strength will not come from individual ambitions.

It will come from our ability to function as one political family with a common purpose.

Proud of the Lagos APM Delegation

I must especially appreciate our delegation from Lagos State.

The participation, discipline and unity demonstrated by our members once again showed the determination of the Lagos chapter to contribute meaningfully to the growth of the party nationally.

To every delegate who travelled to Bauchi, participated in the convention and represented Lagos with dignity, I say thank you.

The journey ahead will require even greater commitment.

We now have the responsibility of returning home and strengthening our structures across the 20 Local Government Areas, 37 LCDAs, wards and polling units in Lagos State.

The real work begins after the convention.

APM Must Now Take Its Message to Nigerians

Political conventions are important, but Nigerians will ultimately judge us by the ideas and alternatives we present.

We must show people what APM represents.

We must speak about prosperity.

We must speak about jobs and opportunities for young people.

We must speak about agriculture and food security.

We must speak about healthcare.

We must speak about infrastructure.

We must speak about accountable government and policies that genuinely put people first.

And in Lagos, we must continue to present our Atunto Eko — Reset Lagos Agenda as a practical alternative for residents who believe our state can be governed differently.

The task ahead is enormous, but I leave Bauchi encouraged by what I saw.

I saw members from different parts of Nigeria united by a common purpose.

I saw a party preparing itself for the responsibility ahead.

And I saw renewed determination to take our message to Nigerians.

The convention may have ended, but the journey towards 2027 has entered a new phase.

I congratulate our National Leader, our Presidential Candidate, the newly elected National Executive Officers, every delegate, the Lagos State chapter and the entire APM family.

Now, we must get to work.

APM is stronger.

APM is united.

APM is ready.
